The fundamental rights of the first peoples.   NDP MP Romeo Saganash for Abitibi—Baie-James—Nunavik—Eeyou debates his private members Bill C-262 in the House of Commons on December 5, 2017. Bill C-262 now has the support of the ruling Liberals and would ensure Canada’s laws are in harmony with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
